Day 2: At Sea
The sunrise was cloudy and hardly dramatic. Bummer. So I took photos of the wake instead.
And yes, Daniel is wearing a cape. Didn’t you know all super heroes wear capes? (Edna Mode thinks Supers don’t wear capes, but what does she know?)Ahhh, the joys of being 5.
This ship had more pools than the NCL ship we were on. When we were on our NCL cruise, people would comment that the ship was “small”. Seemed pretty big to me – until we got on the Carnival ship. It’s about 120 feet longer. The pools were bigger too.
Some disjointed photos of the atrium.
Daniel, Micah and Noelle chilling out in the hot tub. Daniel wanted to spend his entire time there.
Hangin’ out with Noelle
A buncha photos of the pool deck
Bow of the ship. I couldn’t find a way to get out there. Maybe it was just for staff.
Funny boy. | |
Sunset of Day 2 | |
On this cruise, we had assigned tables and dining times in the formal restaurant. If you didn’t go to the formal restaurant for dinner, you could eat at any of their other restaurants any time you wanted. (NCL has something they call Freestyle Dining in their formal restaurants, where you get to eat dinner whenever you want (during dinner hours) and sit where available – like at a regular restaurant). Our waiter was pretty cool. He always remembered what we liked to eat and drink. I’ve no idea how many people he serves, and keeps track of, but I was impressed. |
